Zinnia, a leading life and annuity technology company, today announced a connected bundle for the independent annuity channel, BGAs, IMOs, and the advisors who work through them. The integrated SmartOffice and AnnuityNet offering enables seamless business processing from lead to in-force.

The bundle is designed for BGAs, IMOs, and the advisors who work through them. Today, these firms often juggle separate, disconnected systems to quote, submit, and manage annuity business. By unifying those functions into one platform, Zinnia eliminates the re-keying, fragmentation, and manual handoffs that slow down annuity sales and introduce errors.

“The independent channel is one of the fastest-growing parts of this industry, and it’s still running on disconnected tools that were never built to talk to each other,” said George Esposito, CEO of Zinnia. “This bundle changes that. It gives BGAs, IMOs, and their advisors one connected platform backed by the same infrastructure that already powers more than half of the industry’s electronic annuity sales.”

The connected bundle brings together three capabilities:

  • SmartOffice, which centralizes client data, policy tracking, case management, advisor hierarchies, licensing and contracts, and commissions, with pending case status syncing automatically with AnnuityNet so the Agency Management System always reflects the latest activity.

  • Quoting, which lets advisors compare fixed, indexed, and variable annuities side by side, with current rates, carrier details, and client-ready quote summaries produced in a single click.

  • AnnuityNet, which brings digital, paperless application processing with built-in validations, suitability checks, e-signature, and auto-generated state-required forms to reduce not-in-good-order submissions. For those that want their own front end, AnnuityNet is also available via a headless API through Zinnia Market Connect, so firms can offer electronic annuity processing on their own branded platform while Zinnia handles carrier connectivity, product rules, and compliance behind the scenes.

Together, the three products let advisors quote, submit, and manage annuity business without leaving a single connected workflow.

“This is exactly the kind of opportunity we built this business to go after,” said Ash Sawhney, President of Zinnia. “BGAs and IMOs control a huge share of annuity distribution, and most of them are underserved by the technology available to them today. This bundle gives them a platform that actually keeps pace with their business, so their teams can spend less time on systems and more time growing.”

The launch reflects Zinnia’s continued investment in the independent distribution channel, a market where the company sees significant room to grow. Zinnia’s platforms already process more than 50% of all U.S. electronic annuity sales, handles more than 700,000 electronic applications annually, and connects to more than 100 carriers, infrastructure the company is now extending to reach BGAs and IMOs at greater scale.
